New Airospace mixtape

Washington underground rapper Airospace's long awaited mixtape All Dreams End has finally come to light on January 1st with a pay-what-you-want download on Bandcamp. The follow-up to the 2013 mixtape Senjougahara Hitagi [vol. II] has been in the works for all of 2014 as Airo spent the year building up to the new release with singles, demos, a music video and constant updates. Additionally, he toured with electronic/jazz rap producer Lucid Optics, worked with close friend Cauzndefx on the remarkable single "Paranoia Agent" for their Samurai Outlaw project, joined metalcore group Louder Than Quiet as their drummer, and got hit by an SUV.

The young anime buff--real name Anthony Alexander--previously unleashed a 90 minute mixtape in 2012, an hour-long mixtape in 2013 and one standard LP-length mixtape for each of those years in addition to various minor releases, making 2014 surprisingly lacking in Airospace's brand of emotionally rapped, mind-bendingly produced experimental hip hop. Nevertheless, the aforementioned tape Senjougahara Hitagi [vol. II] picked up some momentum through Internet buzz over the past year and a half, especially on 4chan's /mu/ board and the rating catalogue site RateYourMusic.com. User Solipsaurus of the latter site referred to Airo as "basically Aesop Rock if he was a weeaboo."

Start the new year with a descent into insanity by way of hip hop and anime references; check out All Dreams End!
