Production is so meh

^^Agreed, every song from Somewhere Far Beyond (random example of a BG album) has better sound, and that's been issued in 1992...
The vocals are way louder than the music, and it's a shame because the instruments are brimming with technical and aggressive playing on the rear.

Isn't that the name of a Helloween song?
|
| |
Has the author of this piece never read a news article before? Seriously, who approved this?
"Blind Guardian released a new Song today."
What kind of stupid ass sentence is that?
|
| |
i think it will be of better quality on the cd or
vinyl
@Tempest get your aggressive attitude together man.
If u want to criticize me, do it in a constructive
manor.

Agreed guys. The sound is shit and I'm not the biggest fan of the track too even though in the context of the album it might seem better.
|
| |
I have a feeling the mix purposely sucks so that people are forced to buy the album again when its remastered for double the price.
|
| |
this sounds like this could be in any blind guardian album within the last few albums they have done its not unique and has nothing new or special to offer. album will suck
|
| |
mix on the album will sound good.......im a bit disappointed in this song though
|
| |
this is kinda lame (and this is my favourite band ever, I'd never usually think of saying this). The production is obviously really bad, but the song just feels like same old (which is rare for them, having about 7 albums that all sound different from each other). I guess all bands run out of ideas one day, and kudos to them for not running out of ideas for so long. Still, this is sub-par for BG. Hope the rest of the album (inc. production) is better

lol
Surprised the mods didn't edit that. Mine have been edited for less. Oh well, it is different at least.
|
| |
The production is poor but it will be better on the album. The song is good for me until the chorus. I am hoping the rest of the album will be better.
|
| |
"Isn't that the name of a Helloween song?"
Probably. It's also a Bathory album.
|
| |
And 4/5 of an Amon Amarth album.
|
| |
This song is like someone taking a really nice puzzle and smashing it together with a hammer. Production is terrible.
|
| |
Sounds pretty standard. Seems like they haven't really known what to do with themselves since A Night At the Opera
|
| |
@Mabbitt, go listen to Wheel of Time and Tanerlorn (Demo version) off their last album. They still have good ideas, and they can still bring a sense of urgency. This single isn't either.
|
| |
At the Edge of Time was a good album IMO. It wasn't their best but it was still a very good album. The new song sounds like a watered down continuation of they were doing on ATEOT. I am really hoping they have some stronger material on the upcoming album.
|
| |
I agree Lowder, but my gut tells me it will sound just like it
|
| |
guys will wait to hear the original cd . the most important its to be a good album with good songs
.!!!!
|
| |
forefather you are killing us
|
| |
I dig the dark style of this track, but I'll agree, the production is off. If the instrumental highs and overall punch of the track (if you will) were bumped up, it'd be great. I'm sure I'll buy this if the entire album follows suit stylistically.
|
| |
wish for a good album with powerful sound .
|
| |
The production is terrible! I'm surprised, Nuclear Blast usually has very clear production.
