Darkside gone too soon

2014-08-17 by AgainAnd | 8 Comments
Darkside, the collaboration between electronic artist Nicolas Jaar and guitarist Dave Harrington, have just announced on twitter that the duo is done for the foreseeable future: (www.twitter.com/DarksideUSA/status/501056825224351744).

All is not doom and gloom for friends of Darkside, however, as the announcement was coupled with sharing two outtakes from last year's Psychic on Soundcloud - 'What They Say', and the aptly titled 'Gone Too Soon':

I'm stoked on this.. darkside have absoloutley NOTHING on nico jarrs solo work.
I just saw this duo as a barrier preventing jarr from reaching his full potential.

Well yes, that's the positive way of looking at things. As someone who preferred Space Is Only Noise, I'm hoping for more solo material coming down the road.

These two as a live act were pretty rad, though.
