Best song i ever heard
| |
Dragonforce with harsh vocals, so meduhl.
Also what the hell at 1:55.
| |
Been off them for a while so I can't tell if this is decent for them but the occasional growls are a nice touch.
The vocalist makes them sound like Stratovarius
| |
Goddamn the chorus, seriously didn't they heard that there is something wrong?
| |
"Maximum Overload".... ugh. Have an idea what I feel about this title but can't find an equivalent English adjective. What kinda title is that anyway? What does it even mean? Something along the line of "I can't take this anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!"?
| |
shit band releases shit song, not surprised by this at all
| |
"Maximum Overload" will be a reference to their solos I reckon
| |
Listening from my phone so I can't say for sure, but it seemed like those solos didn't fit the song at all. They seemed pretty uselesly shreddy. Couldn't hear the rhythm guitar from where I was sitting though, so again I couldn't tell for sure. Not too big on this track either way.
| |
Not all that bad, at least it's better produced and a bit heavier
| |
what the hell at 1:55. [2] terrible transition. Solos didn't fit with the song, either. Other than that I liked it though.
| |
Matt Heafy? Don't you mean James Hetfield?
| |
Heatfyld.
| |
^You're thinking of David Draiman
| |
this band is still so awfulmazing
| |
This blows.
| |
That solo sounds awfully shoehorned into the song. Surprise surprise.
| |
sick
| |
Where was Heafy?
And did they really think they should suddenly change keys for the chorus and make a new song all of the sudden? Horrible songwriting.
"Oh solo time! Have all the instruments had a few seconds to themselves for cheesy tricks? Okay, yeah you can sing again."
| |
Could've been better. The way the main chorus kicks in is weird
| |
Melody wise it's "un-Dragonforce" til 1:55, then comes the "Dragonforce" melody part and it ruins an otherwise good song imo
| |
it doesnt matter how hard he tries the keytarist will never look cool
| |
Yeah listening with headphones now all this makes me wanna do is listen to Into Eternity's "Buried in Oblivion."
| |
I kinda love this to be honest. My least favorite part was the generic dragonforce chorus because the first one was great.
| |
So I'm guessing that the guy is reading those messages backwards?
| |
It's probably part of his secret agent training. That's why he had all the cool tech in that abandoned storage building, right?
| |
song is dope
| |
This is all over the place.
| |
Amazing song, but I wish they made Matt a bit more audible, it was barely worth adding him in.
| |
Especially since any of the other musicians could've done it themselves.
| |
Idk how I feel about this Power/Thrash/Melo-Death Dragonforce. I guess it is pretty cool.
| |
Funass power metal, per the usual. Fine by me in small doses.
| |
I really liked the Power Within, so i'm looking forward to this next album, but I don't know how I feel about it so far (though I think I like it).
All of the singles have been edited down for the videos for the past few albums though, so I feel like the album version will be a LOT better
| |
I miss old dragonforce
| |
I don't lol. As much as I enjoy Valley of the Damned and Sonic Firestorm, I like the direction they've taken since Marc joined
| |
Damn I think this is awesome. Best Dragonforce song I have heard since Through the Fire and Flames. Heafy's vocals are very well used.
| |
Lol no way. Valley of The Damned mate
| |
for what it is, its not that bad... but its still just laughable and poppy metal
| |
They were my kind of thing when I was like 11. Can't stand it anymore sadly
| |
Valley of the Damned still has some replay value to it, but honestly I regret liking these guys as much as I did in Junior High. That being said I could have picked a lot of worse bands, but at least this one led me to heavier bands.
| |
This one led me hate overly technical music. I have about 6 songs from 3 albums on my mp3 player because the rest are just far too much. Some albums when I was like 11 are still close to me like MCR's Three Cheers but this band? nah
