^This [2].

Deep Purple's new album rocked harder than this...and they don't even pretend to be hard rock anymore.
|
| |
Is this a Sabbath b side?
|
| |
Legendary lel
|
| |
This is really... passionless. It sounds bored.
|
| |
This sounds like they just jammed around a single incessant riff and Halford ad-libbed the first lyrics that came to mind. Scott Travis must be pulling his hair out having to play AC/DC beats for four minutes.
|
| |
awful
|
| |
Yeah holy fuck I thought of Ozzy too haha. Still the riffs are pretty sweet but the whole thing kind of sounds lifeless
|
| |
retire
|
| |
No worse or better than the other two. lol Halford doing his best Ozzy imitation has got to stop.
|
| |
dude! That's so raven!!
|
| |
Rob sounds like he's:
A) Bored
B) 62 years old
C) All the above
|
| |
You know that Rob has been asked to fill in for Ozzy on a few occasions for good reason. Rob sounding like Ozzy is nothing new. This track is perfectly fine. It's not much of a ripper, but its crunchy and catchy. If you want to hear Rob scream then listen to the preview of Halls of Valhalla.
|
| |
The song is not bad, however Halford does sound 62. On the other hand, Eric Adams (from Manowar) is 60, and still does the screaming thing decently.
|
| |
Rob did a song with FFDP about a year ago. Now the song itself was a pretty standard anthem, but it was fucking ENERGETIC. Rob sounded GOOD, he could rock that fast-paced lower register singing, and that's what I really hope to hear from him on the other songs.
Also I think the production hurts this more than anything. The guitar tone has no crunch, the drums have absolutely no oomph, and of course Ian's bass is completely drowned out.
|
| |
Not that bad, but just no...
|
| |
"Rob did a song with FFDP about a year ago. Now the song itself was a pretty standard anthem, but it was fucking ENERGETIC"
Same thing I said for the last song.
Anyway
...
MEH.

|

check manic impressions danny im surprised you dont have it rated (and 5d)
|

Of all the classic metal bands, Maiden's the only one that apparently remembered how to write a memorable track.
|
| |
this is pretty fetch, tbh
|
| |
Oh god this sucks
|
| |
What the hell? Worried about this next release.
|
| |
Sounds like a Sabbath tribute song.
Pretty average.
|
| |
Meh
|
| |
whatever there's always Riot I guess
|
| |
brings the z's
Its sounds like its just a "because of our contract" album
|
| |
That was terrible
|
| |
Halford is the most boring part about this. Really generic vocal lines and his voice is so processed. Ouch.
|
| |
This song could have been really good. Halford's performance and the band's production really bog down the song though.
