the album art looks like something a fan would make for a demo album

Pleeeease god let this be better than life cycles. These guys are so talented but restrict themselves to generic song structures and poop choruses.

Empire is the only descent album they've put out.

Album art/ name is ridiculously generic

Deceiver had some good songs but Empire showcased a lot more. Intricate guitar work, great melodies, etc. Their last album really fell flat because they could do so much better

They look like an indie rock band on the tabs book.

I would jam this band so much more if they rarely used cleans.

First single was dope. These guys are from my hometown and my buddy who heard the album ahead of time says it's shredshredshred so I am STOKED. They've always had a little bit of it but it's about time they get away from the shitty juns and choruses that the bands they tour with always go for. Mega stoked.

how great would it be if they surprised us and pulled out a solid 3.7/3.8?

I honestly didn't mind the track Life Cycles and I normally hate this music, but the rest of the stuff I've heard from this band hasn't done much for me.

Deceiver and Empire were incredible (hell, even the one with Craig was incredible) but they dropped so hard on Life Cycles. Their first single off this album was okay, but it makes me feel good knowing that was just the intro song. I reeeeeally hope this album surprises me as a 3.5-4.0.
