Beat me to it lol. Sounds like a TDG song, so fans should be pleased and people who don't like them will continue to not
like them.
| |
I've grown out of TDG, although I didn't mind Transit Of Venus. The fans are starting to revolt against Walsh though...
| |
lol I just went to their Facebook and it's typical "ugh you suck now" people versus "u arent a TR00 fan if u dont luv alllllll theyre musics" people with a couple "this isn't actually bad" comments.
| |
Yeah, the song itself isn't too bad, but I think the IQ of TDG fans is getting lower, since people are just basically saying 'bring back adam'. It's pretty annoying.
| |
Sounds like Opeth's Facebook page actually.
| |
Finally Matt's voice fits with the music, actually good vocal work. Pretty generic and the guitar riff sucks ass at times but it's ok.
| |
Agreed, it's just average... Hoping the best for them, though, especially since they have a horde of people on their facebook with "Bring Back Adam" messages.
| |
Meh, they lost their thing after One-X...
| |
sounds like three days grace
| |
True fan comments are so annoying
| |
hate to jump on the mob mindset though i do like adam's voice better. he was the only reason to listen to these guys.
and by listen i mean "not change the radio station"
| |
Song's much better than I was expecting. Adam is certainly a better vocalist, but honestly the vocals in this song are pretty good. Decently heavy and catchy track, though its a little bland in structure to be sure. Wish it wasn't so straight forward.
| |
I give it a B-
| |
not as bad as I thought it would be actually, though Adam would've done it a lot better.
| |
just exactly the same
i mean for what it is...its ok. but damn
| |
I'm not a TDG fan but i tried going into this with as little bias as possible, i like it better than old TDG, which isn't saying much for me but its decent
| |
Genres such as Traditonal Doom Metal and Old School Death Metal were designed for this music.
| |
Surprisingly not bad.
| |
This...is...the PAINKILLER!
Oh wait, it's not.
| |
Friday, it gave me that feel when he said "painkiller-killer-killer" (killllleeeeer [enter kickass solo])
| |
Well that was fast
| |
The new vocalist isn't bad, and his voice fits the music pretty well.
| |
delete
| |
Well for my opnion Matt sounds ok but still , Adam was better. Soungs like 3DG song , though I'm not sure about the guitars here . Too much synts ...
| |
lol replacing the last one was such an easy task for them
| |
This sounds exactly like My Darkest Days.
Kinda proves that Three Days Grace has always lacked a unique sound.
| |
Meh, most of Transit of Venus was better.
| |
Compare this to 'I Hate Everything....' and you'll see that it's generic to a whole new level.
Ever since they released "Life Starts Now" every single song of them sounds so watered down.
Already taking bets on how long it takes for this to become an official WWE theme song.
| |
sucks ass
| |
Better then I expected, but sounds like every other song they did...
| |
Guys have to work on originality, but on second listen, I kind of like how Matt's vocals blended in.
| |
Sounds just like every other song they've ever released with slightly different vocals lol
| |
Matt doesn't really sound that bad; not as good as Adam of course, but I like this a lot better than MDD. hopefully the album won't suck ass. If it's even close to their S/T or One-X I'll probably give it a couple listens for nostalgia's sake.
| |
Actually wasn't that bad lol
| |
Sounds like a continuation of Transit of Venus. The lyrics are pretty generic, but at least Matt fits this song.
| |
"Compare this to 'I Hate Everything....' and you'll see that it's generic to a whole new level.

One-X is still pretty damn watered down
| |
wasn't as bad as I thought it would be
| |
Band has always sucked. Chorus to Drown is catchy and that's pretty much the end of my appreciation.
| |
Not as bad as I thought it would be but it sounded like 3DG as always so....
| |
Oh gawd..
It does sound like My Darkest Days ;__;
| |
honestly, it feels like a little bit of both if you ask me
| |
This doesn't sound very Three Days Grace-y at all. I was hoping maybe they'd at least hold on to a bit of it.
| |
I feel like Adam's voice is more dynamic than Matt's. This song kind of shows that. Matt sounds flat.
| |
Adam's voice was distinct - not the My Darkest Days guy.
| |
not terrible
| |
Generic.
| |
No Adam, no 3DG. Simple as that.
| |
This song is average, but still better than anything on TOV. At least they ditched the electronic sound.
| |
TOV was actually pretty good
| |
This is lame as fuck. RIP Three Days Grace. Loved you guys in my late teen years.
| |
can't get into it
3DG won't survive long without Adam
| |
One-X was good, but Adam's voice was the main reason I liked it
| |
The new singer is fine, sounds like their old one. This band always produced the same song over and over again anyway. Never saw what was so appealing lol.
| |
Are you kidding me? Matt sounds almost nothing like Adam.
| |
Now that I've finally heard the whole song, I don't hate it, but it's awfully generic
| |
A lot of TDG songs are pretty generic if you ask me, especially their debut.
| |
Yeah, but this reaches a whole new level of unoriginality for them - mostly because of the Porn Star Dancing.
Honestly his voice is a lot more tolerable when he's not pulling the cock rock shit
| |
@Green, yeah Matt isn't the worst, in fact I'll say he's alright in this, but Adam was way better.
| |
depends, right now it's not very impressive.
| |
it's cliched and contains typical TDG content. Nothing else really.
| |
This band still exists?
Nah I'm kidding. I fucking know they still exist (internetz tells you when a band is still active or not), people who constantly throw that cliché line to bands they dislike are morons.
Anyway, band is generic as fuck. They suck and probably this blows as well.
| |
This band still exists?
| |
yep
| |
lol
| |
How did I manage to predict Snide commenting on this?
| |
Transit of Venus was a huge miss. Change needed to happen, and it did with Adam leaving. The song still sounds like Three Days Grace, and miles ahead of anything My Darkest Days could do. I'll definitely miss Adam, but I'm not nearly as disappointed with his replacement as I expected to be.
| |
Transit of Venus is probably their second best imo. They actually changed their sound for the better on that one. Granted there were a couple of generic songs but it was pretty good for the most part.
