Personally think this is one of the best Derrick era albums.

who the fuck mixed this..his voice is so low and wierd...
anyhow i doubt this tops roorback
|
| |
Awesome album. The new drummer is insane! I agree with this being one of the best albums of the derrick green era as well
|
| |
lol
|
| |
Their best album in a very long time, still not very good but could be much worse.
|
| |
Best Derrick < Worst Max.
|
| |
I heard Kairos is pretty good but it's hard to judge whether any Sepultura album with Derrick is any good since everybody's always like "it's alright, FOR DERRICK ANYWAY". Poor guy.

| |
SarcAsticBastard, yeah! If you're competing for best caveman / angry hobo award ! Green and co are doing an awesome job in Sepultura and have kept this band fresh. Kudos to them.

I prefer Soulfly but I still dig Sepultura. Roorback, Dante and Kairos were all pretty good, this one is probably one of the best though.

There's a reason everyone does that...
"yeah! If you're competing for best caveman / angry hobo award !"
Thanks for sharing that you've never listened to Max-era Sepultura.

"Best Derrick < Worst Max."
i would agree but roots exists so
|
| |
This seems pretty decent so far, definitely up there with the better Derrick stuff. Nothing special, but solid. The Vatican was a cool track.
|
| |
Name one post-Max album better than Roots.
|
| |
all of them honestly
|
| |
Yeah i would say all of them as well
|
| |
^ Really?
'Roots' is a patchy affair but still IMO, better than anything since (not saying it's all been bad though). It may have actually done them good in the long run if they had changed the band name. It surely helped them at first, but they'll never escape the comparisons to the Max-fronted Sepultura.
|
| |
I see you Derrick Green(y86).
|
| |
Yeah think it's pretty lame that MetalSucks dragged down their rating of this album purely because it's Sepultura and they felt compelled to compare it to the old Max era albums.
