"DGD streamed their entire album for free on Youtube?! Time to step it up boys!"
| |
Song slays. It's also way better than every track on DGD's new album so who gives a shit about them
| |
I liked this song. Which album of theirs should I check out first?
| |
Conversation Piece since it is most like this in style. Plan B is a lot more experimental and the vocals are very sparse throughout the record.
| |
Song is alright.
| |
cool song. cory's spoken word stuff is hit and miss though
| |
song was aight [2]
| |
so the song is gonna be spoken word like I thought. why do people love this band so much? they're so
average...
edit: the end of the song was a lot better than the rest. I hope they cut out that spoken word shit
for more of the album but it's probably on half the songs :/
| |
spoken word in post-hardcore works about 0% of the time...
| |
Spoken word rules so stop bitching!
| |
definitely the album Ive been looking forward to the most this year , and this doesn't disappoint
| |
I really liked it. I loved Plan B, but I like the direction they've gone with Conversation Piece and, seemingly, No Place. I'm not against the spoken word, but I don't think I want it to play a huge role in the album.
| |
i thought it ruled.
| |
Well, that was pretty uneventful. Spoken parts were kind of annoying.
| |
Spoken CAN work, but it doesn't here. Song is pretty good though.
| |
Man, I am so over these kind of vocals.
| |
Niceeeeee
| |
this is super super super super shitty lol
| |
great song from a great band!
| |
Hmmm...I like.
| |
I like it
| |
But fo'real, if there are non-arbitrary guidelines that you mods follow lemme know and I'll adjust my expert commentary accordingly. Just gimme dat list of banned words that you fairy fucks are offended by and I'll be sure to use them more sparsely... or not at all. Except I'll probably still use them. Sorry.
Changed my mind, I'm not actually sorry. Yes I am not, but perhaps occasionally oftentimes frequently never.
| |
goddamnit why is it that my articles never get approved :c
| |
i thought sputnik would love this.
| |
idk spoken word is just poetry over music it's not like really annoying or grating it just sucks when it's really melodramatic and shitty but i thought in this case it was aight
| |
Lol @ SarcasticBastard
Eh, song is alright
| |
Cory's still an amazing lyricist, album will be incredible
| |
Great song.
| |
Awesome song
| |
> new DGD, easily.
The concept is awesome.
| |
I liked it.
| |
> new DGD, easily [2]
| |
its pretty good ! I prefer songs like Vanity's Fair. that track rocks
| |
great song.
| |
this is superb
| |
I can't wait to hear the "Orange Time Machine Cares" of the new album
| |
Sounds good, i bet its a weaker track off the album too
| |
Awesome, a bit slow but at least it was intense. Cool that Corey kept doing the spoken word from Conversation Piece. The dual vocals have found an even more perfect balance as well.
| |
As sad as I was when Kurt got the boot from DGD, at this point I can safely say thank god he was. He adds so much to this band.
| |
It was boring
| |
I enjoyed this somewhat. Never really listened to ALLB.
| |
This was not a good introductory song from No Place for these guys to release. I have no doubt it'll sink into the album comfortably, but I was hoping to hear something that functioned a bit more independently than this tune. Just feels lacking on its own.
| |
Remember when this band used "sesame street is no place for me" as their lead single for conversation piece and it was the worst song on the album? exactly. Give this a chance guys.
| |
That was used as the single for Conversation Piece? Whut?!
| |
didn't know it was a single...
but worst song?
it was still really really good lol
| |
Definitely one of the tunes that stood out least to me. Not that that specifically makes it bad-- just that album's second half was more forgettable to me, minus Blowtorch and Tantrum.
| |
this album's gonna rule
