I really want to like this, and I'll admit the arrangement is beautiful, but my extreme lack of faith is going to hinder any enjoyment I would otherwise get out of this.

Dustin's lyrics are better when open to interpretation.

I'm a Wovenhand/16 Horsepower fan, so I can stomach the religious lyrics despite my own beliefs. Great track.

There are dumber lyrics out there regardless of religious content, so I can definitely overlook the lyrics. His voice and voice control are amazing.

So good. Makes me miss Thrice though...

^ Opposite for me. Starting to make me think the rest of the band is unnecessary for great Dustin material, especially considering how scaled back the instrumentals are in the last 2 albums.

funny i am actually wearing a Thrice shirt right now, but i rarely even listen to them anymore. I just get this comforting feeling whenever i think about their music and remember how much i used to love it.

Still sub par from Dustin. Based on what I've heard so far, this will be a 3 or 3.5 at best.

Bland music, stupid fucking lyrics

i love this, and I find most 'worship' music insufferably bland, even though I'm a Christian. Officially stoked for this album.

I don't like it.
It's Not Enough made me expect a flawless album. Maybe it will be one but that's only 'cause there's
nothing in it. Everyone could write this music, it's incredibly unpersonal and it means nothing to me.

and for the record, the song just doesn't sound good. it's not written especially badly; just not my thing. but the arrangement is bland, as are the overproduced vocals. just couldn't find much to like about it.

Dustin needs to stick to the heavier post hardcore stuff, not that I dont appreciate his softer side mind you, but his solo work has been quite boring.

Musically, I don't find this as interesting as Thrice, but fuck man... His voice sounds outstanding. I really enjoyed his vocal progression from the Alchemy stuff on, but I never thought he would sound this good.
