Loudwire is currently hosting a premiere of DevilDriver's latest song, 'The Appetite'. The track will feature on the band's upcoming album Winter Kills, which will be released on August 27 via Napalm Records.

Shortly after, starting from September 12th, DevilDriver will hit the road for a co-headlining North America tour with Trivium (support will be provided by Sylosis and After The Burial).

Thankfully I can agree with the above statements.
The first song that they previewed I felt bad listening to because it was just bad.
Though, this is a much better song. Thank God this album has some hope.

So tight. Halfway through I was thinking "the only thing that could make this better would be a scorching solo." Cue the scorching solo. Fuck yeah

The solo is abysmal, far too formulaic and rhythmically steady. There's a reason why they stopped doing them after that one experimental album where they were everywhere.

Song is passable. They'll never beat the second album though.

I haven't really enjoyed them since TLKW. That will probably always be their high point.

I just remember when every douche-bag wore shirts by them and Hatebreed a few years back.

I have always liked the guitar solos these guys come up with. Reminds me of Last Kind Words (this is a good thing).
