Underoath to play Warped 07

2007-02-07 by Intransit | 13 Comments
After a period of uncertainty last summer following Florida post-hardcore sensation Underoath's sudden departure from their headlining run on the Vans Warped Tour, the band has soldiered on and continue to tour.

To make up for the dates missed last year on the tour due to the sudden break, Underoath has been confirmed to play the tour from July 24th in Virginia Beach, VA to August 10th in Buffalo, NY.

Underoath has never made it through a full stint on the Vans Warped Tour for various reasons, from the sudden removal of Dallas Taylor three stops into the '03 tour, to the most recent incident on the 2006 incarnation of the tour.

They join a slew of mainstage bands including Bad Religion, Coheed & Cambria, Pennywise, Cute is What We Aim For, and Paramore who will be also be headlining the tour in its 13th year.

WTF @ Cute Is What We Aim For headlining.

Glad to see Underoath going back at it, but mainstage means they can't come back, correct? This Message Edited On 02.07.07

trust, different bands headline every night usually. so don't get too disgruntled. and if anything that may be a good thing, you can leave earlier :p

They can come back on the tour as often as they have time I guess. I know NOFX plays mainstage on the tour like every 2 years or so

but seriously, what's the fuss about with this band? they really don't seem anything special to me.

Didn't Underoath bail out last year like 2 weeks into it? I'll believe it when I see them make it to August?
