Kasey Anderson massive fraud

Many were surprised and confused when Seattle country singer/songwriter Kasey Anderson disappeared from most social media outlets a few days ago, about a month after announcing his departure from the music scene:

A recent article by the Seattle Weekly, however, reveals that Anderson's troubles are more than not making enough money; Anderson found himself facing a $250,000 lawsuit stemming from a benefit record for the West Memphis Three that never materialized. Supposedly, Anderson claimed to a group of investors that the album would feature performances by Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M., Willie Nelson, Lady Gaga, the Arcade Fire, and Tom Waits, and even forged the signature of Springsteen's manager.

After the West Memphis Three were freed in late 2011, the investors begin asking for refunds, leading to the lawsuit, which was settled on October 17 with a $187,000 bill on Anderson's side. However, this was not before Anderson unsuccessfully attempted to impersonate his friend Danny Bland, producer of the 2000 benefit album Free the West Memphis 3.

Anderson, who has been diagnosed with Type I bipolar disorder, has enrolled in an intensive outpatient treatment program. The ordeal is explained in greater deal in the article below:

What the fuck? This article confuses the shit out of me. I mean I get it, but seriously. It's too stupid to comprehend.

When you say bag of dicks is it like a sack of baguettes, or more like a Baggie of bloody sausages?

How on earth Anderson did this and expected to get away with it (even if he is suffering from a bipolar disorder)?
