How is anyone seriously excited for this? First off, it's not even a live DVD if you don't get the damn 'super limited special ultra deluxe edition' - the normal edition is just a live CD. And the best bit is the website claims that "fans of the band have still been clamouring for a new Porcupine Tree release. This wait ends on November 19th." Pff, like this counts. Enough live shit already!

Also, I gotta agree with someguest that although the band as a whole is great live and they have an excellent sound, Wilson's vocals are pretty weak live....I mean, the other guitarist has to sing all the difficult parts for him...

He hits the highs in the studio. Some pretty high highs too. Never seen him even try live...Hell, he seems to have like a 3-note range live. It bugs me is all.

I've only seen PT live once, and the Incident absolutely SLAYS live! The album is nowhere near as good as when you see them perform it live I'm glad I did.

They're live stuff is great. Wilsons new live DVD is killer, great performances.

People who say his vocals are bad live have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. He sounds just like he does in the studio, with the only major exception being that "Trains" is down-tuned a bit.

Anyway, I will be on this DVD so I'm looking forward to it. :-P You can actually see me in one of the promo pictures for it.

Well someguest I own the same DVD and they pretty much sound exactly like the studio. I don't know what your standards are, but I don't feel like we saw the same thing.

There probably won't be a new album before 2014, since Wilson will be touring with his solo band throughout 2013. Solo stuffs more interesting at the moment, looking forward to further experimentation.
