Mikey leaves Close Your Eyes 2012-07-14 by simonpettersen | 10 Comments | In March 2012 it was announced that Close Your Eyes vocalist Shane Raymond would be leaving the band due to physical reasons. The band recruited Mikey Sawyer in May 2012 as their new singer, although the alliance didn't last long as Close Your Eyes have announced that as of July 2012 they are no longer performing with Sawyer stating that "he didn't fit the band".
