I would say it's pretty solid. I would have preferred it to be a little more guitar driven, but I can't complain.

cool
| |
if it aint broke dont fix it i guess
| |
really dislike this
| |
Started off pretty terrible in a Foreigner kind of way, wound up being slightly catchy as it progressed though in a J. Geils Band kind of way. Still super cheesy though and not at all what I was hoping for from this band.
| |
on 2nd listen sounds like day & age part 2
| |
Sounds like u2 meets Boston, it's great.
| |
Only listened once but I found this really underwhelming.
| |
Cheesy... Kind of like they want to be U2 or yeah, Foreigner
| |
Yeah he should stick to his day job as a corner for the Chiefs
| |
I really dig it.
| |
Very, very U2 influenced
But shit man, I miss the OLD Killers. I still listen to Hot Fuss all the time.
| |
I too wish it was old killers, cause that was their best. BUT I actually really enjoyed this. Had an awesome old school vibe.
Brandon's voice is so different from the first album too imo
| |
yeah, sounds just like I expected.
| |
Oddly enough, hot fuss is probably my least favorite by them.
| |
It took a lot of flak for some reason but Sam's Town was always my favourite album of theirs. As for this track...ehh, it's alright I guess.
| |
lol this is brilliant. If they don't do anything shitty like on day and age I'll be enjoying the hell out of this new album.
| |
No real surprise, loving it anyway
| |
Oh god this sounds like that 'Jack and Diane' John Mellencamp song, I hate this.
| |
sucks yea
| |
HOOTTTTT FFUUUUSSSSSSS.
| |
still love this band it seems
| |
I have always loved this band but this didn't do it for me
| |
I really enjoyed this song. Cheesy? My God! That's a bit harsh. I like the 80's centric vibe they're going for. If you loved The Killers for just Hot Fuss, I get it, but still the hate that poored down on 'Day & Age' was so harsh even RollingStone reevaluated it as underrated. I think a lot of people just want another 'Mr. Brightside' or 'Somebody Told Me' and I'd like that too, but how would they grow as a band knowing they sold themselves just making pop tunes. No way guys. I couldn't bare to see a band hurt themselves artistically like that. Opinions are opinions, but sometimes change is an undervalued thing.
| |
Sam's Town was their best album...I wouldn't mind another album that sounds like that.
| |
I really wish they'd go back to the Hot Fuss sound, but this was a decent song.
| |
I remember when I used to listen to these guys, back in freshman year 4 years ago...
| |
Weren't these guys supposed to be on a hiatus or some shit? Too bad I guess...
| |
Yeah Hot Fuss sound was great. Song is ok.
| |
god sam's town was terrible. hot fuss ftw
| |
that whole album kind of grinds my gears. that's a good song though. i just think flowers sounds kind of terrible on it/pretentious
| |
Ugh i hate this fucking band so much haha
| |
Klap knows where it's at.
| |
Day & Age was really bad and this doesn't seem to be any better. Their first album is still the best.
| |
This sounds like a cross between Sam's Town and Day & Age. I'm fine with that.
| |
bahahaha andcas
| |
Hell yeah! Killers are back! I'm ready for the album to drop and the tour to begin.
| |
I felt Sam's Town was one of their weaker but I still really like that album.
| |
Sam's Town is awesome and so is Hot Fuss
/settled
| |
okay then
| |
hmm we are all human, but everyone is a dancer
| |
Sam's Town is awesome and so is Hot Fuss
/settled
truth
| |
Great sounding track, but now Heat of the Moment is stuck in my head...
| |
hot fuss
| |
Intro sounds like an opening song from a TV show, can't remember what though. Still, ok song, great band.
| |
Is an enjoyable track ,catchy and with a lot of energy. They always have been a good in my eyes and Hot Fuss was their best cd, I even enjoy Day & Age but the low points make me rate that with a 3.
| |
They sounded almost British on the first record which I really loved...this just sounds like cheesy americana rock...
| |
The fact I went through all of these comments and didn't see one refer to Bruce Springsteen is a giant Sputnik fail.
