I am a huge Townsend fan, but his appearances on other albums are not that good. He was alright on the Ayreon album, but other than that, most of his guest appearances are pretty bad.

Ocean Machine/Addicted/Terria are awesome. Accelerated/Infinity/Physicist/Synchestra are pretty meh. I haven't heard any SYL or Ziltoid, but this dude needs to do less. Its just too much and its starting to get on everyones nerves. Deconstruction was terrible and just straight childish. Ghost was boring as fuck.
