Wow, this list sucks. Where is Mirrorthrone or Insomnium? Or even Kalmah?
People really need to expand their music tastes past the pop/mainstream American music. Stadium Arcadium is a very weak album. The only one on that list that is any good at all is A Matter of Life and Death by Iron Maiden.
Stadium Arcadium is possibly RHCP's weakest album. Ten Thousand Days is a replica of Lateralus IV. The Mars Volta are a boring band with 15 minute songs of wankage. Blood Mountain is generic. I can never understand why Mastodon and their albums are so highly regarded. This is of course all my opinion.
I am very disappointed with this list.

Just because it is American doesn't mean that it is bad. But I guess you're too cool.

Yea, I know I'm cool. I do like two American bands, which are Between the Buried and Me and Arsis. And the reason I pointed out mainstream American music is because American music is what the mainstream is around the world right now, not just in the U.S.

I should have put To-Mera's debut on my list. Oh well.

Come 2007, Streetlight Manifesto / BotAR will win.
