i mean i don't wanna think someone really jumped off a bridge and died but i kinda hope the story that guy told was real. either/or i just hope the album is as good as the trailer. It sounds like this album will be more serious, their earlier work was more playful.

tree, swallows, houses was the only thing this band has done that really stuck with me. great ep, i wish they had continued to go that direction. few bands (none) were as good at the math-pop thing as they were.

The trailer didn't really give much to be excited about for a new sound but perch patchwork was a great creative blend of their talents. They are one of the most honest bands when it comes to putting out an album that they want rather then what's hip can't wait to hear what they've got next.

they're such sellouts. they were great when they were doing math, one of the best math rock bands of all time. their third ep was a step away but it was still pretty mathy and good, their last album was cool but it hardly had anything to do with math and now these samples sound good but they literally have nothing to do with math rock. SELLOUTS. SELLOUTS. Bon Iver has ruined music. now every artist thinks that their music just needs to be over-produced and full of weird samples. FUCK THAT.
