Absolutely beyond amazing...does not disappoint at all.
| |
so fucking good, these guys just can't disappoint.
| |
This is really awesome, I don't like much tech death but I can't wait to hear the rest of the album
| |
5 years later and they still sound the same
how is this a good thing
| |
Is chalky on this? I was so happy when i heard he joined the band but was only completely let down when i heard he left only a little while later. Whyyyyyy????!!!!
| |
Because it's a good sound
| |
i want bands to sound different everytime they release something new thats why i like their sound...wait
| |
SO not disappointed. That was frigging great. And I LOVE that album cover.
| |
Really enjoyed the song. Odd because I never really liked this band too much, but I may have to give them another go.
Album cover is beastly too.
| |
You should listen to their other stuff again then, because this is in the exact same style they have always had. The new members have extremely minimal influence on Jonas Bryssling's songwriting. Even Christian Muenzner (on this song) is seen replicating their old lead guitarist instead of employing his trademark style.
| |
yeah defs sounds like spawn of possession dare i say even more technical than before? It'll be
interesting to see if the whole album will be like this, i hope its a bit more coherent though.
| |
It's not that it's more technical, though it might be, but this song is definitely one of their most aggressive songs.
| |
I'm just hoping we get the Sour Flow-esque song we were somewhat promised.
| |
Yeah the bpm seemed to be pretty far up there, i kinda got lost a couple times.
| |
That songs one of my faves by them.
| |
Answer me, is chalky on here?
| |
No he is not. It is Dennis Rondum (the old vocalist)...thank god.
| |
Thank god? Why chalky is awesome. Actually I read on another site chalky is on one of the tracks. Prolly will be the only one I listen to.
| |
Chalky is a horrible vocalist. One of the worst actually.
| |
Wow, blasphemy!!! Anthracks, I think he is the best death metal vocalist imo. I love his vocals. He is the most versatile growler I have ever heard.
| |
There is a reason he hasn't been able to do anything worthwhile without the Haley brothers carrying him.
| |
that is true i havent heard anything from him since that album, that being said scepter of the
ancients is one of my favorite albums of all time, oh and the haley brothers haven't put
anything all that great out since then as well.
| |
Hmm that was actually pretty good, looking forward to the new album now.
| |
Both song and album cover rule! I hope 2012 will be exactly like 2011 and so far, things are looking great!!
| |
god this album is going to be amazing!
| |
The Haley brothers and chalky are all great imo. I just think they all complemented each other so well. Psycroptic would have been a band for the ages had chalky stayed with them. I'm absolutely positive if u replaced peppiats vocals with chalkys on symbols and observant.... The scores for those albums would be at least 4s instead of 3.7s or whatever they are
| |
The only appeal Psycroptic has ever had is in the riffs. Joe Haley is one of the best riff creators in death metal.
| |
If I were in a better mood and perhaps listening to this with higher quality speakers than the ones on my laptop, I'd enjoy this tremendously like it's meant to be m/
