Camp Freddy Single Release

2006-11-28 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 1 Comments
Camp Freddy, the all-star jam band featuring Dave Navarro and Scott Weiland, will release their second single on December 12 via itunes.

The band, which also features Chris Chaney (The Panic Channel), Donovan Leitch (Nancy Boys), Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver) and Billy Morrison (Circus Diablo), will issue the Slade song 'Merry Xmas Everybody' as the follow-up to September's Cheap Trick cover 'Surrender.'

Said guitarist Billy Morrison: "It was loads of fun to record, and was always one of the best Christmas songs when I was a kid. I'm glad we decided to record it, and very glad that we managed to get it out and online as quickly as we did. So go ahead and download it on the 12th.

"At this rate, we'll be releasing the album track by track, over a period of about 18 months!!! Now wait a minute — there's an idea…" A video for the track will also be released the same day.
