That definitely wasn't bad, but I didn't enjoy it. I prefer the old sound.

Their debut was one of my favorite albums for quite some time.

But then their sophomore effort sucked. I kind of lost interest in these guys, but I might listen to this anyway.

It was pretty rad. But man, I miss their more ambient/electronic geared stuff.

I want more Break the Same and Reset.

Agreed. First album was amazing IMO, especially the instrumentals. This will probs be better than Armistice though.

Check our their debut... like everyone above stated it was leagues above Armistice.. the bass line on obsolete (and the entire song) is MUAHHHHHHH perfection

Yeah, their Debut and the Reset EP were both amazing.

Yeah dude, Armistice sucked. I loved their s/t.

I might actually pick this one up though. Even if it's not as good as their first effort, I'm really digging the bluesy kind of vibe I'm getting from this thing.

wow i'm kinda surprised at all the Armistice hate. it was far less unique than the s/t, but still an excellent and diverse album FAR above the majority of pop/alternative it could be compared with.

the whole feel and mood is what made the self-titled great, and i'll be shocked if they could somehow re-capture it. they have to evolve.

Yeah, I mean, I didn't like the overall lack of ambiance in Armistice. To me, it just felt kind of empty, or low on textures somehow. I have no idea, but I just didn't like it. I guess they just went the direction I kind of hoped they wouldn't.

However, this video for the next album is really piquing my interests. I'll definitely buy it, I think. I won't really mind if it isn't all too similar to the s/t. I love Meany's vocals, and King's drumming is awesome. So, it they execute it right, it'll be a fantastic album.

Also, did they drop the bassist they had on the s/t?

Whoops, I guess the guy was their old guitarist.

I'm with you, ScorpionStan. I still liked Armistice (and the live dvd was kinda cool).

This song sounds raw and interesting. A long way from their debut. I guess that's called evolution. Count me in.
