I AM STILL PUMPED
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
| |
Laziest article ever
Should be a tweet instead.
|
| |
I've had longer articles than this get shut down.
|
| |
Give the source. Unless Spencer personally told you this.
|
| |
I am an Underoath hater.
|
| |
^csb^.
Will maybes rule.
|
| |
Wahoo my article got featured!
Copied it from Alter the press for you guys...
Stoked!
|
| |
Underoath is one of the few bands where I actually have paid for every album that came out since I listened to them.
TCOT, TOCS, DTGL, and I got LITSOS for my birthday
|
| |
Last 2 have been so good. Loved their older stuff when I was much younger.
|
| |
what is this word
|
| |
So pumped for this!!!
|
| |
YAY!!!!!!! Lost in the Sound of Separation was on a completely different level. I can't imagine what they've put together for us this time.
|
| |
stoked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
| |
This will most certainly be awesome.
|
| |
Psyched hoping for less cleans and more RAWR
|
| |
awesome, pumped
|
| |
Nobody is as pumped as I
|
| |
I'm more pumped than Maniac. o wait.
|
| |
impossible
|
| |
Hence the o wait.
|
| |
Pretty keen on this
|
| |
Good deal. I'm not too crazy about the album title, but the record should still rock.
|
| |
CantwaitCantwaitCantwaitCantwaitCantwaitCantwait
|
| |
No more gay clean vocals. I'm stoked.
|
| |
Yea really looking forward to how they sound without Aaron on the cleans.
|
| |
The album title is weird compared to their old ones... Maybe it represents a change in the band's style
|
| |
High expectations.
|
| |
"Underoath is one of the few bands where I actually have paid for every album that came out since I listened to them.
TCOT, TOCS, DTGL, and I got LITSOS for my birthday"
Are you purposely omitting their first 2 albums?
|
| |
First 2, Cries of the Past and Acts of Depression, are EP's bro.
|
| |
YES YES YES YES
|
| |
I omitted the first 2 because I said "since I started listening to them". I kinda meant I started with TCOT and bought the ones after. They didn't sell the first 2 in stores when I got into them at first.. I just recently was able to buy things online in the last couple years
|
| |
I am excite.
|
| |
i can see this being my favorite release of theirs
|
| |
Apparently the release date is wrong.

I read in AP thata Spencer hears hints of Converge, Mastadon, and Deftones in this. It'll be epic.

|
| |
don't really knew what to expect. i loved them with Spencer but i saw them about a month ago without him and i thought they put on an awful show and it was really pretentious to boot. hopefully it's good.

I think you meant Aaron.
|
| |
Yes, please. Y'all want a single....
|
| |
Oi...according to Underoath's Facebook profile, that release date is wrong.
|
| |
Oooh nice, it seems so soon but I like this band so who cares.
|
| |
Pumped!

I'll edit it when it's announced, that was the tentative release date.
|
| |
Its right now!
|
| |
They're gonna go groove metal now. Just like everyone else... Bust out the eight strings.
|
| |
ooooo i cant wait!
|
| |
Where's the fire?
In my pants.
|
| |
NOVEMBER 9TH!!!!
|
| |
No Aaron = album might be okay.
|
| |
CAN'T WAIT!!!!
I'm SO STOKED!!
I just watched an interview with Spencer yesterday and he said that they are all confident that this is their best album
yet. He said that Aaron also heard the album and was blown away. I think parting ways with Aaron is exactly what they
needed to do in order to progress to the next level.
|
| |
Underoath is the shit and the new album will probably be the shit and the album title is ok
aaron aaron ok aaron ok
|
| |
I'm definitely more stoked than anyone else.
I want to know how many other people here proudly own the Deluxe Edition Boxed Set of LITSOS. Anyone else who
owns that can be as stoked as I am.
|
| |
will suck without Aaron
|
| |
you're more stoked than I am TomakaVeto!
|
| |
I don't think so.
|
| |
i own it
|
| |
They posted on Facebook they were digging Axe to Fall a couple of months ago. That gives me high hopes.
|
| |
Stoked
|
| |
Aaron started annoying me on LITSOS for some reason even though he's great on DTGR. I'm freaking pumped for this.
|
| |
They posted on Facebook they were digging Axe to Fall a couple of months ago.
Uh oh
|
| |
So stoked.
|
| |
Does this mean that this album will actually have a harder back bone? fucking jesus, it was about time aaron left, now they can actually get a competent drummer instead. one who plays blast beats...flys around...and like, hits his wife or something.
|
| |
blast beats? gtfo
|
| |
Didn't cha read the last news article, Curse? apparently he (the new drummer) was playing blast beats. and much more technical, more technical than what aaron did.
now why don't you get the fuck out
|
| |
blast beats are overrated, and shouldn't show up in an Underoath album. Band isn't about technicality fuck
|
| |
Yeah, but on the video there were clearly no blast beats. I don't think the dude knew what he was talking about.
|
| |
meh, I agree. But I think it'd be nice to give them something more, and different. Knowing the way
they are as musicians, it isn't going to be like ..over used, or terrible.
true legend. To be fair I didn't listen to more than a few seconds of the sound clip. Because the
quality wasn't good, and I just want to hear a god damn clean album version. Live first pisses me off.
|
| |
Aaron was pretty technical though Pink, he was a great drummer for the band.
|
| |
^@Pink I know right. Good quality or GTFO. It would depend on their use of blast beats for me.
|
| |
Ehhhhh....I never really liked Aaron a whole lot. I suppose he wasn't bad for them, But I just wish
that he ...I duno...I say all this shit about him yet I feel like the drumming in songs like writing
on the walls is superb. I duno, Maybe I just don't like him because he has red hair(?)
|
| |
Aaron was a great drummer, but his voice limited them imo.
|
| |
fuck gingers
|
| |
Yep. Only thing about his vocals is they weren't overly produced, and they were pretty much his. Like live it sounded almost identical. But just because they sounded the same album to live. Doesn't mean they were the best.
|
| |
Well 1 time I saw them Aaron's vocals were great, but at Warped a couple of years ago he was trying to be a show off and messed them up. Dude seems like a douche tbh.
|
| |
doesn't sound like an Underoath album title
|
| |
because it isn't an entire phrase?
|
| |
Yeah Legend. I saw them at The Taste of chaos tour. like..the first year? maybe not TOC, Anyway. They were amazing, his vocals were CD quality. I was blown away., Saw them again at a headliner and again. AMAZING, saw them 2 times at warped in between, and again a year ago. And..he sounded like a dying featus, I just didn't get it
|
| |
Do I hear blast beats??!?!!
the first 8sec's
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MANw-oMFvog
|
| |
lol'd ^
Aaron had some freaking impeccable drumming. However, I can't wait to hear what Daniel brings to the table.
|
| |
lol was pointing at cursewhorship's comment. Watched the video and I don't hear any but what is audible sound fantastic. I like Spencer's singing, too.
|
| |
I always though Aaron was the heart and soul of the band, he not only brought great drumming, but also some really great vocals.
I was a bit sad that he left, but I still have a lot of confidence in the rest of the band to make another good album.
|
| |
He was one of the founders of Norma Jean, so expect Botch drums.
|
| |
just remembered i've got dibs on this. hell yeah
|
| |
He was one of the founders of Norma Jean, so expect Botch drums.
Uh oh
|
| |
better than that god damn ginger
|
| |
^ haha bloc I lol'd
and true that redsky
|
| |
Gingers have no souls...and leave good metal bands to join mediocre shitty pop punk bands
|
| |
whooooo
|
| |
THAT GINGER MADE THIS BAND, OR ARE YOU FORGETTING THAT FACT?
|
| |
PRETTY SURE IT WAS DALLAS AND THAT OTHER GUY THAT STARTED THE BAND
|
| |
yeah, but the last time he contributed anything worthwhile to the band was on Cries of the Past.
|
| |
But was the last remaining original member in the band, it's so weird that he's out now.
|
| |
"First 2, Cries of the Past and Acts of Depression, are EP's bro."
Disagreed, the length of both of them are LP length.
|
| |
BMTH has that covered and perhaps even more.
|
| |
can't waitttttttt
|
| |
wait, wait...wait bloc, hooooold on. are you saying that a ginger GAVE a soul, and a heart to something?
maybe thats where their souls go...to amazing metal bands. I see clearly now, the rain has gone..
|
| |
STFU everyone knows that it was/is Dudley, not Aaron that is the soul of Underoath...

|
| |
HAHAHA
|
| |
True, he might be the mastermind behind the whole damn project
|
| |
Yay! now I won't have to fast forward through Aaron's cleans to hear Spencer!
|
| |
this will fucking slay
|
| |
agree with buu
|
| |
...oh dudley, such a happy-go-lucky fella. hope this album takes UO in a new direction.
|
| |
yeah, but the last time he contributed anything worthwhile to the band was on Cries of the Past.
If you mean Dallas, lol, no, Changing Of Times owns.
If you mean Aaron, bigger lol.
|
| |
And yeah, Chris Dudley is the man.
|
| |
If you mean Dallas, lol, no, Changing Of Times owns.
If you mean Aaron, bigger lol.
facts
|
| |
moar underoath sooner plz
|
| |
When the Sun Sleeps brings soooooooo much nostalgia though.
|
| |
I like old and new Underoath but treat both as almost like different bands.
|
| |
Couldn't be more happy unless they said Aaron was returning.
This shit will own, but have my doubts on it wont be so Album of the Year.
|
| |
Underoath is an American Christian metalcore band from Tampa, Florida.
American Christian metalcore band
Christian metalcore
Christian
|
| |
cool user name
|
| |
I have a feeling this'll be very similar to LITSOS
|
| |
I dunno if this album will top DTGL though.
|
| |
they're probably one of the most open christian bands I've ever seen. Same with The Devil Wears Prada. They bust that shit out and talk about it before a song at least once every set. But they make it "Alright" by sayin' "awwww, we don't want to push ya!, just gettin' his name out there!"
|
| |
Every time I saw Underoath it was "Hey we are Christian, but if that's not your thing we still love you."
|
| |
That's odd of them, whatever floats their boat.
|
| |
I would maim someone to see them live
|
| |
fuckin stoked!
|
| |
Fuck, you guys got lucky, They go on like...a rant before a song with soft guitar in Canada. it's not
pushy I guess..but it certainly makes me feel uncomfortable.
|
| |
yeah, underoath kills live! I saw them without aaron and it still was pretty good! though I'm not an aaron fan...
|
| |
i want to be excited about this, but i'm still on the fence. not that i'm a gillespie fanboy, but it's just weird with him out of the band.
|
| |
Yay!
|
| |
wonder if they will still have cleans?...
|
| |
