Hawthorne Heights Go Acoustic 2006-09-22 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 5 Comments | Hawthorne Heights last week ran a contest by e-mail allowing fans to choose a song from their two Victory Records releases for the band to re-record acoustically.
The band announced the winner is a fittingly subtle fashion:
hey guys thanks so much to everyone who has emailed us. we have calculated all of the votes and the most voted song is... THIS IS WHO WE ARE
As previously reported, the band is currently unsigned. They recently decided to leave Victory Records due to personal difference with label head Tony Brummel, who they also accuse of withholding royalties from them. A lawsuit is pending against the label.
