i went to a jack johnson show a few years ago. i lay flat on my back smoking joints the entire time i got so high i didnt pay a second of attention to jack johnson.

I don't get all the Jack Johnson bashing. His music is consistent and while sometimes a little dull and the songs can sound the same, each album he changes slightly and its just good, simple music

I don't like Jack Johnson mostly because my ex-girlfriend was fucking obsessed with him...like, thought he was the greatest musician alive. I want to rip my ears off every time I hear "Better Together" now.

Also, he epitomizes "safe" music.
