Blur Post New Song

2010-04-18 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 41 Comments
Blur have posted a new song entitled 'Fool's Day' for free download.

The newly-reformed group recorded the track for a limited edition 7" vinyl single to coincide with Record Store Day (April 17). It's the first new material released by the band in seven years, and the first with Coxon since 2000's 'Music Is My Radar.'

'Fool's Day' is available to download in compressed MP3 and uncompressed WAV format.

Blur were one of the few few good bands to emerge during the britpop era. they were a hell of a lot
better than oasis anyway

ok just listened to the song and they stole the melody from I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight

I think these guys could make another good album if they wanted to, too bad that it doesn't look like
happening.

btw whats with the download abruptly cutting off at 2:26?

Really. Their reunion and Glasto performance were by-far two of the most talked about things in music last year

Song is average though

It was good, but they can do way better.
Still,is good news that they are even recording some stuff.
