improvement? yes
fun? very
|
| |
its better than 90% of someday, but still kinda just ok
YES NO AUTOTUNE...through the first verse? ugh
|
| |
A lot better than i thought it would be. Vocals have improved a lot IMO, but the music is still pretty bland.
|
| |
i'm gonna be honest, i like this a lot
|
| |
i cant wait to hear this.
|
| |
About as surprising as AOAA. Music is unbelievably bland as mentioned but the keyboard is quite inventive and actually sounds like a piano rather than bullshit cookie cutter dance.
Most importantly not no noticable autotune. Fantastic improvement and the band are not quite such a joke anymore. Somewhere between 2.5-3 for the song.
|
| |
Same, I can't wait to hear this as well. I gotta get home first.
|
| |
you might like it a bit dare i say it.
|
| |
The lead singer looks like an emo Glenn Beck on their myspace lol
|
| |
CRAB PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!
|
| |
Wow not what I expected. Still boring though. The clean vocals are miles ahead of the last album.
|
| |
btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME (:
|
| |
MUCH better.
|
| |
Actualy is more listenable that everything they have made :D
|
| |
Are you kidding me, what a huge improvement.
|
| |
Song fucking rules
|
| |
Nowhere near as bad as the old stuff, in fact some parts are actually really good. The clean vocals however?
KILLMENOWKILLMENOWKILLMENOW
|
| |
Holy crap, unexpected not-sucking!
the chorus is super annoying but caleb's vocals are actually really good (sounds like a plea for
purging) and the piano is awesome
|
| |
They went from being the biggest joke in metalcore to acceptably bland.
|
| |
Piano reminds me of Wind of Plagues. But the growls are awesome, very beefy.
|
| |
yeah but i hate them so they have now become attack attack!'s pianos.
|
| |
Very good logic. And dawgz yo, this song is awesome.
|
| |
awesome in its shitness!!!!!!!"£!£!"£"!£!"!!!!111!
caleb's homo lol
|
| |
thank you Waior, I thought the vocals sounded way similar to another band. . . but yes I like this alot
|
| |
Better than Mouth Breather
|
| |

|
| |
crabcore?
|
| |
their vocalist is better but he's also obese and emo at the same time. hilarious? yes. musically listenable? you kidding?
|
| |
Dibbs on first Shazzam! review
|
| |
The vocals have improved....
I think hell just got chilly
|
| |
Lol three of them have the same haircut and lip ring lol
|
| |
i am going to be really original here and say the vocals are a lot better..... definitely nothing to go crazy over tho
|
| |
They kind of sound like Before Their Eyes now...
|
| |
wow
i'm actually kinda impressed at how much they've improved
|
| |
3 Breakdowns +1 Verse +3 Choruses +No autotune +Deeper Vocals +Piano +Sturgis Production=WIN!
Seriously improved and catchy as hell
|
| |
3 breakdowns, 1 verse, 3 choruses is an awful awful song structure
|
| |
The vocals have improved....
I think hell just got chilly
ahahahahahhahahahahahahahah. I'm not sure what brought me to laugh as hard as I did at that.
and yeah, being the 36th orig. poster, gonna say this is a vast improvement. fun to listen to, and
the beats are pretty catchy, and the growls are ..well good. all they need is guitarists that know
what the definition of "ryhtmn" is..
Edit: and better Song names, Jesus
|
| |
"3 breakdowns, 1 verse, 3 choruses is an awful awful song structure"
figured it would be something like that without even having to hear it
|
| |
To be fair it goes:
Breakdown
Verse
Chorus
Breakdown
Chorus
Chorus
Breakdown
A bit of a fail...but still, marked improvements overall imo
|
| |
How do you start with a breakdown? There's nothing to break down yet.
|
| |
to me, it sounds like a two song mash-up between an acceptable metalcore offering with a bit of piano and the worst before their eyes-style whining.
|
| |
Total garbage, still.
|
| |
^way to be the glass half empty guy
|
| |
This song is amazing
|
| |
Yeah, the more i listen to it, the more i like it. I'm really surprised at it's quality/how it's being received here.
|
| |
they could have fit at least 2 more breakdowns or 4 more dance parts in there, this is bullshit.
|
| |
I think more people are impressed with how much the band has improved than with the actual song.
|
| |
well his screams aren't annoying anymore, that first guitar part is totally a rip off of soundwave superior (if it's even possible to rip off emmure) and the breakdown at 2:00 wasn't actually that bad cuz they ripped off acacia strain lol although not gonna lie, i'll end up downloading this shit, i listen to these guys far more than i'd like to admit -__- guilty pleasure, leave me alone!
|
| |
WOW
That was suprising!
I like the vocals, and the whole Piano / breakdown thing in the intro
The chorus is a little annoying
and the structure is shit
but still a pretty good song
|
| |
"I think more people are impressed with how much the band has improved than with the actual song."
^^This. The actual song is terrible.
|
| |
Whats wrong here... this is not too bad at all...
|
| |
Kind of sounds like they've gone and listened to everyone's complaints about autotuning and cheesy synths
|
| |
I dont mind the clean vocal parts at all really
|
| |
Pretty sure I posted this...
|
| |
This is like 100 times better then anything off their debut aside from the pianos sound tad cheesy
|
| |
I'm excited to listen to this. I didn't mind Someday Came Suddenly too much, and if Sputnik doesn't hate it, I should enjoy the shit out of it.
|
| |
May they be eaten by crabs of the earth's deepest caverns. Slay all fashioncore. Just listen to this dipshit. http://hardtimes.ca/attackattack09
|
| |
I haven't listened to it yet, I have to go home after school first.
And I can obviously see they've apparently improved.
But does that make them good?
Or are they just listenable now?
|
| |
Listenable, but I still feel this would get boring after repeated listening. Depends on the listener, I suppose.
|
| |
theyre still a generic scene metalcore band, but i like the keys i guess.
|
| |
gosh dang I like this, and I'm starting to like TDWP again . . . someone help me lol
|
| |
I'd recommend a silver bullet? just kidding.
|
| |
Caleb is obviously the most competent member of the band with his keys/programming. The song was alright though, glad they're improving
|
| |
The contrast in vocals is alot better, the APFP like growls counter the way improved singing in a nice way
|
| |
it sounds like a better devil wears prada song, maybe the new album won't be so bad...
|
| |
gosh dang I like this, and I'm starting to like TDWP again . . . someone help me lol I'd rather hang myself than become another TDWP fan.
So, uh...there's always a solution.
|
| |
Still don't like this, the keyboards were decent though
|
| |
the chorus...
|
| |
Oh, Squid you
|
| |
Just listened to it.
It's alright, I mean, the vocals are greeeeeaaatly improved, but the music theory and formula is still there, minus autotune and better screaming.
|
| |
so this might be 2.5?
|
| |
Ehh. Didn't like this that much. And my god, the dude sounds exactly like the A Plea for Purging vocalist. Doesn't really fit too well.
|
| |
not going to lie, i like this a little too much.
|
| |
Prolly be 2.5 from me too
|
| |
yeah 2.5 - 3
|
| |
So the Crab People have returned huh?
|
| |
Best avatar ever nychicano
|
| |
Now that song wasn't bad at all.
If it wasn't for the atrocious names they give to them, and their stupid scene kid look, I would respect them.
|
| |
I honestly like this. WTF?
|
| |
Honestly thought this was going to be much worse. Still not that great, but it is Attack Attack!
|
| |
wait....where have i heard this before?
oh yeah, every other shitty br00t4l Br34kd0VV// band out there sounds like this.
|
| |
I like it, the guitars sounds sweet, and vocals also unexpectedly good. It seems like they actually went to the effort to blend the synths and metalcore together cohesively rather than splitting the song into "dance part, metalcore part, dance part."
So from the studio videos it looks like Caleb does literally all the work in the band. What I want to know is why wasn't he always the frontman?
|
| |
Must be a shy fatso
|
| |
Erasers - Plenty of bands do it. Stop listening to the shitty ones. Try I Explode Like.
|
| |
Try I Explode Like. Yeah, perfect band if you like generic breakdowns and synthcore
|
| |
Since when have they turned down the suck?
|
| |
Since now muhfucka
|
| |
Pirate Squid - Well, that's exactly what he said he did like haha. Way to go idiot.
|
| |
k check them out, i will. I love me some generic breakdowns.
|
| |
from what ive heard, austin was quite the power hungry frontman.
|
| |
I can't ever get into them again, but they do sound less like a joke as mentioned previously. They are doing their job as being a good "introductory" band into post-hardcore music, but once anyone dives deeper into the genre, AA! just looks more and more unappealing.
|
| |
this is surprisingly not bad.
|
| |
