I don't have any vinyls or a record player but i kinda want this. Actually i can't say I've ever heard a vinyl record played...is there a big difference from the cd or is it just for collecting?

Depends on countless factors.

Your record player
The cartridge you're using
The speakers you have
Has it been mastered for vinyl?
The weight of the pressing

If you have a crappy record player, cheap speakers and a vinyl that wasn't mastered for analog the CD will sound better. But... if you have a decent setup and a vinyl that was pressed with care then you will notice the subtleties of a vinyl vs a CD.

Alright cool it's on my calender. I think white/ black would really follow the theme of the album and therefore be really neat to own for one of my favorite albums of all time. Been meaning to get a record player soon anyways.

I'd buy this just for the lyrics sheet. I'm sick of being unable to decipher Jesse Lacey's incoherent mumbling...there are so many moments on the album where the lines are unclear. Even the chorus of Not The Sun...is it "Be my veins, be my bain" or "Be my babe, be my babe" ?

The 180-gram vinyl pressing of Brand New's 'The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me' by Academy Fight Song has been postponed again.

AFS made the following statement:

"We are in the process of working with the band on making this release exactly what they want. That being said, we are going to have to postpone the pre-order today. I really hate doing this, but I'd rather post a pre-order on a product I know is already approved for production rather than having to wait on approvals that may take a while.

I'll post more on this as soon as I hear back from the band, but I didn't want to keep you guys hanging tomorrow.

I hope you understand and are still excited, this release is going to be so beautiful!
