I like this a lot, though is has nothing on PR. Awesome, awesome solo section. If they made the verses a bit more chaotic (and Tom sounded more pissed off), it would have been even better.

Dude, the drums sound like their off Death Magnetic (I mean the actual sound, Dave owns Lars anyday...), hell, this mostly sounds like a Slayer guest spot on Death Magnetic to me. A throwback to their old days, but without the punch.

Wow that was absolutely HORRIBLE. Guitars have no drive at all, just the same crappy thrash riff that has no power at all. Vocals and drums were good, but the riffs were simply terrible.

Because they've done this in the past with their last few releases. A particular example of this, off the top of my head, would be the song "Cult" from Christ Illusion. They released a demo of it about 3 months before the album was released. And I was only speculating Benzum.

Didn't really care for it. Can't hear any bass at all and I didn't care for the overall production. Man, Slayer seems to be going the way of Metallica. It saddens me to see great classic bands slowly dying.

LOL I literally had the exact same though process when I heard about it as well. I'm hoping it has the same spirit and intensity as angel of death, which obviously seems to be the inspiration for this song. Thank god jeffs doing the lyrics in that one.

This is a strange one, the guitars have lost alot of their punch but I like this track, I'm looking forward to this album, I like what I've heard so far.
