Yeah, this is one of the worst ideas in video game history. Seriously, who's going to buy this?

They should make a Guitar Hero: Opeth. I'd buy that shit up.

I'm going to buy it because any new Guitar Hero game would be atleast fun for awhile. But I probably would only play it as much as Rock The 80's.

I'm still waiting for a Guitar Hero: Metal edition. The company has no idea how much people want something like that and how little they want something like THIS.

Like rasputin said, Opeth would be a prime choice. Get some Protest The Hero, Children of Bodom, Dream Theater, In Flames, Machine Head, Between The Buried And Me...it wouldn't just kick ass it would fuckin sell. I have no idea why they're making this turd of a game, but I'm not going to waste my time with it and know few people that will.

I still say Guitar Hero: Extreme Metal would be worth my money

Guitar Hero - Any Band is just a bad idea IMO. Guitar Hero's 2 and 3 were great, so why not just keep making games like that? I loved the variety and it got me into a few new songs/artists.

I like how they're not even disguising the fact that this is just a ploy to make money until 4 comes out, much like 80's which was the biggest ripoff in recent memory.... The game's fun, but not as fun as playing an actual instrument.

They put Dream Police on two games too late. It should have been that song and not Surrender.

Rock the '90s would seem awesome and would be in the exact same vein as Rock the '80s, does Neversoft know how many kickass nineties songs there are that they still haven't covered?

Guitar Hero: Get a whole bunch of designers to mass produce as many tracks as they can and then you can pick the artists you want so you're not left with a bunch of bs
I'd buy it.

I think for the next rock band or guitar hero they should put up like a board and have people write in what songs they'd like to see. the songs that are on there the most make the cut, the ones that dont... dont.

That is a shitty idea. All you would get is the same Tool, Opeth and Metallica songs. It wouldn't be a fun game.
Muaha, I got my own personal GH wishlist:
Refused - New Noise
Hum - Stars
The Offspring - The Kids Aren't Alright
Journey - Anyway You Want It

its retarded that they are making a game with just one band's songs, especially cause the kids who buy these games are probably kinda scared of steven tyler.

Such a STUPID idea. I won't be satisfied until they come up with a Guitar Hero: Modern Heavy Metal or something like that.
