would agree they're hit or miss but greg has had some genuinely great lyrics. specifically the title track of chamberlain waits has some of my favorite lyrics of all time, and i think as far as standard pop punk lyrics go Time Tables is up there

For me, the 3 album run of Impossible Past, Rented World and After the Party was near perfection that will never be reached again but I still dig everything that has come before or since.
