Idk Pit, Hatebreed are the quintessential intro band for a lot of hardcore kids. They play on mixed bills more than a lot of traditional hardcore bands on a global scale

Im sorry but this is suuuuuuch a stretch, I started with my chemical romance and on a interview Gerard said he loved Black Flag which lead me down the rabbit hole and now I absolutely love fantastic Hardcore Bands, like i even used to hate KLs vocals and i still love the music, who named you the major of hardcoreville to be policing what is the “right way” to get into different genres

I have to disagree and I am 33/a former-but still love it hc kid. I appreciate them even more as I'm older. They're simple but thats why it works so well and they have had long-lasting impact on tons of bands new and old. One of the great parts of hardcore is how much the genre has to offer in terms of diverse bands. Just bc I don't vibe w the hype band or sound of the year does not mean they are not impacting tons of kids in other ways. You gotta take the good with the "idk if this is for me" type shit
