2/2. The boys are back
| |
meh, another generic metalcore album, it's hard to see any fresh stuff coming out from this sub genre.
| |
I don't think this is generic, but hey, don't listen to the sub genre then. Real easy.
For me, I fucking love this. Reminds me of what they tried to do with Under the Gun, but it's not cheesy. Confident synth leads, catchy as all hell melodic leads. Video is sick, too. Preordered.
| |
god i fucking hate this band's album artwork, almost as much as Rings of Saturn's
| |
lmao yeah that art is atrocious
| |
Got a great feeling about this. Lmao at the haters already.
| |
idk man sounds pretty meh
| |
I loved this. Not as much as White Nile, but I'm really digging the melodies, as has been mentioned. Makes for a much more pleasant listen.
I love some of their art, and abhor some of it lol
| |
why bands are still making music like this in 2021 is beyond me. 2.5/5 at best.
| |
Great song.
| |
angel or heater
| |
That video is so stupidly cheesy and I love it. White Nile was great and this was super solid too. Excited to hear the rest.
| |
bored of osiris
| |
Not as good as White Nile but still pretty rad
| |
White Nile was balls to the wall BoO, this one is more.. convivial, similar to Under the Gun, I can dig it

I'm tired of this sound overall, but the song is a pretty good take on it.
| |
Good song. These guys do have ass album art tho agreed.
| |
well, i like a few metalcores bands, that's why i spend my time checking in if there's any more exceptions to the rule. people are too sensitive when faced with criticism against their musical preference, jesus this isn't a political or religious contend.
| |
yeah tell those fuckers whats good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
| |
also this band is big weenus
| |
Probably the best thing I've heard from these guys in awhile though I'm not into the genre much anymore.
| |
Very promising thus far
| |
not bad
| |
haters gonna hate
| |
It is religious now that you brought Jesus into it. Wtg
| |
why are they wearing jackets in the desert
| |
White Nile was good, the only redeemable part of this song was the last 20 seconds. Looks like it will be the most polarizing BOO album to date and that's saying something.
| |
2/2 so far, not quite as good as White Nile but still liked it quite a bit. It's looking like this will be a bit of redemption for this band.
Helps when you get a second guitarist to do a lot of the melodic lead runs huh?
| |
Respect to these guys for just making whatever they want though.
| |
A lot of us like metalcore we just don't like *Mike Stoklasa voice* garbage
| |
I hope they use triangles and talk about the machines or some shit
| |
I think I would have liked this 15 years ago, but this is a bit too cheesy for me nowadays.
| |
This is too cheesy

Liking the new singles. Most I've been engaged by their material since The Discovery.

I think this was pretty unintentionally funny

THIS
| |
Not feeling this one. Previous song was much better
| |
holy hell this is shit
| |
Your opinion’s shit lol
| |
I will always respect these guys for actually having a keyboard player instead of sampling everything
| |
Much preferred White Nile but still excited for the album. The 2019 album and Eternal Reign were a return to form for them.
| |
*guitar kicks in*
So I guess it's the 2000s again?
| |
come back jason
| |
bland af, their downward trajectory continues
1.5/5
| |
Artwork AND album title are cringe. A double whammy.
