Mix on Revenant was better than on TPOA tho.

Probably gonna riff either way. Although I'd really like to see them play live and how their sound translates to a live setting.

Dont get peoples hard on for Apotheosis, the mix is not as good as Revenant and the riffs blend together a lot, theres not a lot of moments that standout either amongst the chaos

I agree.

I mean Apotheosis is still a hard 3.5.

But Revenant has more memorable riffs, more standout moments, the composition aspect is more coherent and fluid and the mix is better.

The mix on TPOA is a lot better. The riffs on Revenant sounds very messy at times. And the riffs certainly does not blend together at all compared to Revenant. Way more coherent riffs and songs. I think you need to re-listen.

I agree, the riffs on Revenant do sound kinda buried at times. Which is strange because the guitars are easily the highlight of the band. ffs bury the vocalist, no one cares about him

Hard disagree.

Either we have a different version of those albums or you never turned up the volume and noticed how messy that mix is on TPOA.

And where do the riffs sound buried on Revenant? The mix is much cleaner and riffs are easier to distinguish from the orchestral parts whereas they blend together on TPOA.
