Band never disappoint now do they?
| |
That’s one amazing track
| |
Band never disappoints, damn
| |
I can’t stop listening to this m/
| |
this band long ago lost the ability to write bad music
| |
wow I missed homebound, holy shit what a track!!
| |
that transition half way through was horrendous
i only really liked the first minute of that song
i didn't like 'homebound' much either though, so
| |
Song is dope!
| |
I really liked the last minute. Kinda liked the other minutes too.
| |
very good as always
| |
That change 3/4s through is so wtf, doesn't even sonically fit the song in any way, first half is one of the best things they have done in a while.
| |
Even better than homebound! Cant wait for the whole album
| |
"That change 3/4s through is so wtf, doesn't even sonically fit the song in any way,"
enslaved fans eat it up because they assume that's what prog is
| |
Band rule, even when they fuck things up ;)
| |
"enslaved fans eat it up because they assume that's what prog is"
As someone who listens to tons of prog, prog is all about that shit
| |
Yeah weird prog like this is >>> boring prog where shifts barely change the mood of the song
| |
weird is fine
badly written transitions are not fine
| |
"enslaved fans eat it up because they assume that's what prog" dude has a bone to pick or what, so jarring
| |
It is definitely an awkward transition. Not sure I'm into it either. The part itself sounds fine. Just kinda sounds like they forced some random section into the song
| |
i literally lose sleep over people liking things i do not like
| |
The black metal sections of the song are great.
| |
wow epic video and killer riffs all throughout the song, i like that transition, i think it sounds twisted in a way, i agree it's a bit jarring though. still though great storytelling once again from the band in line with my own interests so basically right up my alley thematically and thankfully musically also
| |
When the singles came out from the last album 'E' I remember being unimpressed with them initially and now Storm Son after I spent time with it more, became one of my favorite songs. So it goes to show that this band's music clicks more after you listen to it more.
I don't really look to the band as a prog band though to me they're just a weird black metal band. To call them prog seems a bit weird though I know a lot of people do.
| |
its an enslaved song
| |
The black metal sections of the song are great.[2]
| |
weird video, song is ok though
| |
The new track is weird and not in a good way
