Yeah, my only real gripe with the album. The production on Hang was excellent, this is wayyyy more raw and in line with their first few records. I don't hate it, but it's a step back. They wrote and recorded the whole thing within a week or two if I'm not mistaken, I think raw was what they were going for.

I hear what you say Strizz, still love the album it really feels like a perfect combo of Trashed and Hoss mixed with some Resolve and Hang to my ears.

Lagwagon, Strung Out and GR all put out quality shit this year, heads and shoulders above their peers at any rate (looking at you, BR and NOFX). One thing I'm annoyed with is all the Fat Wreck bands using Cameron Webb to produce now, cuz he's fucking AWFUL. Go back to the Blasting Room plz, they're way way better

1 spin in and this is now my fav punk release of 2019, and that's saying something for such a stacked year.

Sounds to me like Stefan Babcock featured in Dangerous Animal but haven’t been able to confirm this ANYWHERE

I'm not sure if it's Stefan, but there are definitely a lot of back up vocalists and gang vocals on this album, more than usual for Lagwagon. Musically this is top notch melodic skate punk, I can't wait to dig into the lyrics a bit more.

@Sloth, 1 minute 20 seconds into that track just HAS to be Stefan, haha. If not it’s ridiculous how similar he sounds

I was wondering myself who the extra vocalists were on this record, I'm assuming it was Joe Raposo or Leon trading on and off on most tracks.

if you don’t think the vocalist at the 1:23 mark on Dangerous Animal sounds like Stefan idk what to tell you. It’s only for like 10 seconds tho, lol. Strizz is prolly right but there’s a definite resemblance there

either way, that track kicks so much ass

haha, I could have sworn it was him briefly featured towards the second half of that track but maybe I secretly just really want PUP featured on a Lagwagon album ;)

Amazing album so fucking happy with this. I loved Hang but this has more of a 90s feel to it while sounding completely fresh. Album of the year for me at this stage.
