Not as bad as city of evil. I don't know what to expect for this cd.

Wow that was very enjoyable. The way he would sometimes dig in when he was singing sounded a tad like WTF. But I'm certainly excited to hear their new record. But considering it comes out the same day part one of Thrice's project does, yeah...you get the idea.

Theres a couple videos of this song floating around youtube, its pretty good. Gives me hope for the next cd, but I hope the rest of the tracks are stronger than that

Alot of Avenged Sevenfold news coming out these days, a bit too much if you ask me.

The word "mediocre" comes to mind. It just really didn't jump out at me at all.

I'm not a fan of A7X. But i figured people would want to hear this. I don't mind the vocals.

Something tells me it's gonna get the same rating as City of Evil, except w/ fewer fanboys and haters. Judging by this song alone, though, probably lower.

I was in that crowd, way to the right. Not because I like Avenged Sevenfold, but because I like to mosh. It was at the 'SingFest' music festival, where they played a set. I enjoyed the song at first but I guess it was mainly because I was into it at the moment while some French guy in a polo shirt was trying to take me down. I'm not really digging the song at the moment, listening to it.

that was pretty good, considering that it was live and they probably haven't practiced it a lot since its a new song.

Typical.

People that hate A7X dislike it.
People that like A7X enjoy it.

I don't think it's very fair to completely judge a songs quality on a moderate quality cam recording of a live performance (possibly an unusually bad performance) before the album is released though. Not saying it was those things, but you get the idea. A lot can change in a studio recording and that's what I'm looking forward to, personally.

As for my opinion of the video, it was alright. Even songs I love I tend to not think much of live. This Message Edited On 08.14.07

They're blatantly the worst live band ever and they are going downhill. Sweet.

I've seen them 3 times just cause I go to nearly every show that comes to my town and the first time was right after Waking the Fallen and I thought they put on a good show. Second time was right after City of Evil came out... crowd had more fanboys and show was a little less intense and less tight from the band, but still ok. Saw them again a year later, the crowd was double the size, this time filled with fanboys and even little kids and parents and all these scene girls, way more than I even expected for such a commercial sounding band, and not only that, but the playing was horrible. They butchered the first half of the set and whereas the last 2 times they played their more interesting material, the 3rd time they played only the most radio friendly stuff, along with a cover of Walk. Probably the worst show I've ever been to.

I actually used to like this band but they're not just going downhill, they're in freefall. Not looking forward to the new album and not ever going to see them live again.
