lmao
| |
The only good thing about this band is that they happen to be profoundly unmemorable in addition to being sad as hell.
| |
Artwork is straight outta 1998
| |
I'll pass
| |
This group is seriously baffling. Every member has been a part of some truly wonderful things in their time and yet collectively, Prophets of Rage are so fucking horrible and unmemorable
| |
Its worse than everything before? Its possible?
| |
Ok I guess, at least compared to the bulk of that first album, which isn’t saying much.
| |
Wow, this is really uninteresting. Didn't listen to their first album, but I was expecting ... just a little more
| |
LOL these guys still exisist?
| |
The grooves are good usually but the vocals and rhymes are terrible.
| |
Just give it up. It's not Rage. Rage didn't answer the bell when society came calling. Prophets is so unmemorable.
| |
Every Prophets of Rage song sounds like if an NBC sitcom did an episode with an ersatz RAtM stand-in and needed to write a song for them to play for 30 seconds before cutting away to something else.
| |
I'm not sure if the artists are out of ideas or believe modern listeners can relate to this.
| |
such a waste of time for breal. could've done something at least decent instead.
| |
Not interesting . Never was
| |
Jeez, it hasn't even been a year since their first album came out and now they wanna slap us with another one.
| |
dumpster fire
| |
why
| |
So good
| |
de la rocha prophits off rage..
| |
oh shoot, it's the public enemy dude, isn't it.. which bad post-ratm project one was de la rocha?
| |
He was in One Day As A Lion but I don’t remember it being bad.
| |
De La Rocha has only done One Day as a Lion, which was pretty solid. Wish that dude would make more stuff.
| |
holy shit this is terrible
| |
Just fucking awful
| |
Gonna be one of the hardest 1s I give this year if the rest of the album is like this
| |
Who's the one in the band that keeps believing that this band will be better than RATM? I mean I was expecting the best for them when the project was announced but man, I keep reading reviews of their first album and all are really negative
| |
Hahaha this is the worst thing ever
| |
Safe to say this band just doesn't work
| |
kinda terrible
| |
Kinda reminds me of The Prodigy. Boy that was a good sound... in 1999.
Song’s not terrible, just not particularly utilizing anyone’s strengths
| |
band always seemed like a cash grab... which is kinda funny to me
| |
This sounds like P.O.D. trying cover a Prodigy song, but really dated and lacking any substance.
| |
I think it's OK but definitely 20 years late. It feels like they'd totally forgotten they had a DJ for the first album, cos he was hardly there, but now they're overcompensating because they're too used to having the "no keyboards/synths/etc" policy from the Rage days and they have no idea how to incorporate it into their sound.
| |
5 bucks says the new album will say something about Trump
| |
Nah I'm not betting against a certainty.
| |
oh man they really gotta stop.
| |
this literally means nothing lmao [2]
All that quote said was "This is a new album. It's not the same as our last album."
| |
I don't hate this. The guitarwork is pretty cool overall. The vocals really drag down the quality of the track though.
| |
sigh [2342342345]
| |
horrible. as the band is
| |
"This sounds like P.O.D. trying cover a Prodigy song, but really dated and lacking any substance."
Wow that is spot on.
