New Skyharbor video is Dim

2018-06-12 by amateur grammar vigilante woodtouching over the sanctity of what things are *supposed* to mean | 14 Comments
Indo-American progressive metallers Skyharbor have released a music video for the song "Dim." The song was released last month as the lead single from the band's upcoming third album Sunshine Dust.

The album will be the first to feature vocalist Eric Emery, who replaced Dan Tompkins in the band.

Something about this new track has stood out more than anything else they've released.

I didn't originally think the single was great when they released it last month, but for some reason it just clicked when I listened to/watched the video. Definitely better than any of the other singles the band has put out with Emery.

Really liking the guitar melodies towards the end.
Don't know if they can release something as good as Guiding Lights, but i'm going to guess it's at least 3.5ish

I have a feeling this album is going to be more accessible, and have tasty riffs.

Yeah it's too bad 'Dissent' is kinda meh in comparison to all the other songs released so far.

I listened to the t/t and Dim but not Dissent, usually listen to 2 songs before an album drops, maybe that song will fit better in the context of the album anyway

I think Dissent is an outlier because it's an homage of sorts to Chester Bennington. I have high hopes for the rest of the album though.

Title track just dropped today; nice melody, vocals remind me of Michael Jackson (Billie Jean?), can't hear the guitar work much unfortunately.

Well MJ influence ain't something new for Skyharbor, Dan Tompkins was and is inspired by MJ after all.
Dim is killer agreed
