New Harakiri for the Sky Song

2018-01-27 by manosg EMERITUS | 12 Comments
Austrian metal band Harakiri For The Sky, have released a new track entitled "Voidgazer" from their upcoming album. Arson, the band’s 4th LP, is slated for a February 16th release date via Plastichead Distribution (Europe/North America/World) and Edel (Germany/Austria/Switzerland).

J.J., the band's vocalist, comments on the song:
"Voidgazer", like the title already suggests, is something like a retrospective and a conclusion of my life so far and certainly also something like a summary and explanation of the previous songs on the album. That’s why it is the last song of Arson, it draws and clarifies the battle lines.”

Arson track-listing:
1. Fire, Walk With Me
2. The Graves We’ve Dug
3. You Are The Scars
4. Heroin Waltz
5. Tomb Omnia
6. Stillborn
7. Voidgazer
8. Manifesto (Graveyard Lovers)

Jammed some of it on their bandcamp and it kinda gave me watered-down a Pregnant Light vibes. Probably worth a check when it drops.

for what it's worth the two tracks they've released are two of the weakest tracks on the album, not that i dislike them

It's ok, doesn't make me excited for the album though.

Aokigahara was excelllent, but I feel like they just keep releasing the same thing over and over again. Sometimes this works for me, but not in this case unfortunately.

I'm really tired of twin peaks references.
