Autopsy return with new music

2017-10-27 by dynamic range police | 19 Comments
Death metal legends Autopsy, who have reached 30 years of career, are back with a mini-LP soon to be released. It is called Puncturing the Grotesque and it will be available on December 15th. Of the seven songs, the morbidly catchy title track has been put on streaming as the album's single.

You can check the song here:

"30 years of Autopsy...how the hell did that happen? Seems like just yesterday but somehow a million years ago that a couple of degenerate teenagers formed this beast that still lumbers and lurches around the confines of the studio and the expanse of the world itself. It's hard for us to believe too. Just don't think we're letting you out of the audio noose yet....we still have some of our sickest tricks up our sleeves for your horrific pleasure!"
- Chris Reifert

Second half of the song is way better than the first, but this is still a hard 2.5/3. That generic ass hardcore riffing in the beginning really kills it.
