This is pretty good. It's going to be real hard to compete for breathing room in the "life-affirming rock" space after Gang of Youths though

this was pretty poor :/ frank is going downhill sadly
|
| |
So the new album is actually a greatest hits album coupled with re-recordings of 10 old songs and this one new song. New song is weak.

stoked for a reworked ballad of me and my friends aaaaaaand that's pretty much it
|
| |
Instrumentals are pretty flat here. Think we've probably seen the best of Frank
|
| |
This guy is fucking awesome live
|
| |
Agreed on that
|
| |
what a bore..
|
| |
I mean, it's alright I guess, pretty disappointing though.
I am interested to see the reworkings
|

Dig the new song, but then again, I don't think I would hate anything Frank puts out. One of the most consistent artists out there.
"This guy is fucking awesome live" [2]
For real, see him live if you get the chance, even if you're pretty middle-of-the-road on his music. He'll change your mind.

"this guy is fucking awesome live" [3]
Yeah he's really fucking good
|

[4]. stunning live performances.

Million Dead reunion when

Frank live is one of my favourite musical experiences, especially acoustic.
Wouldn't mind another Mongol Horde album mind you!
|

Stop revolving your happiness around women, Frank.
|

Man this is some good shit, and frank is life affirming live yeah. Seen him more times than I can count and don’t plan to stop.
These cavernous drums are some straight Phil Collins shit and those synths are right outta Disintegration era Cure... but happy. I dig it, but it took a few listens to sink in.
