R&B singer-songwriter Jillian Banks has released her newest single, entitled 'Underdog', via her Youtube channel. The song has a more light-hearted instrumentation but follows more or less the same vein as The Altar, and it's the second song released since the album, alongside 'Crowded Places'.

Yeah its got this unavoidable B-side feeling for me. Not gonna pass up an opportunity to listen to Banks though and see her in pictures with a red dress on.

Good stuff! Catchy. Nice a production. I think this sound fits her a lot.

The singing out of tempo in Crowded Places is pretty good, I dig that track. I think Underdog sounds less... innovative?

agree that it sounds like a b-side, would fit in on the altar but pretty much all of her first album was better
