Thank god this is wayyy better than live outside, got worried when I heard that single. Now I'm back to being stoked for when this album drops.
A little too electronic imo
@Cryptkeeper Yeah I mean it leans towards the "A Flash Flood of Colour" sound but I still dig it.
I really don't like the pop influences, those high vox are really annoying
Digging: Ghost Atlas - All Is In Sync, and There's Nothing Left to Sing
Wasn't this guy found guilty of securities fraud?
Digging: Deadbeat - Drawn and Quartered
"Wasn't this guy found guilty of securities fraud?"
Digging: Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch - Blade Runner 2049
song is fun, this is the edited version, the full album version is about a minute longer. Album is shaping up to be interesting, hoping they have at least a couple of really heavy tracks
nahh, album is good but by no means their best and yeah hoping to hear more of the mindsweep esque sounding stuff personally.
mmm... too much electronic I think . Where are the guitars here ?
Digging: Trivium - The Sin and the Sentence
Preferred Live Outside tbh, album will be great/excellent
They said in an interview that it's their "craziest", in a way that it's their most experimental from the album
this band super sucks
i dig this, album is shaping up to be interesting at least
Digging: The Body and Full Of Hell - Ascending a Mountain of Heavy Light
That was so boring.
this wasn't as terrible as the last album. chorus is lame but the verses are tight. Still, last album was so bad I have a hard time imagining myself liking this
Heavy Enter Shikari is best Enter Shikari, so i'm not too hyped for the album so far.
Song's okay, haven't really dug either single a whole lot though.
Digging: Frontierer - Orange Mathematics
"this wasn't as terrible as the last album. chorus is lame but the verses are tight. Still, last album was so bad I have a hard time imagining myself liking this"
Wait what? Mindsweep ruled what are you on?
Mindsweep was incredible, starting to worry this isn't going to be as good, nothing has hit me like Last Garrison did when I first heard it, both singles have been distinctly "ok" but nothing more. This is better than Live Outside though
Not sure deep house is really the best mix for them. Not terrible but not great.
they cant even do a proper buildup
Digging: Converge - The Dusk in Us
i wrote a 2 review of Mindsweep and it's by far the most negged thing I ever did, I am legitimately baffled as to what people see in that album. it was a 1.5 album elevated to a 2 by having The One True Colour on it
Heavy Enter Shikari is best Enter Shikari
I can't into this at all. Live Outside was at least kinda cool
oh no wait i lied i forgot about the time i 2'd Chevelle's "La Gargola"
'i wrote a 2 review of Mindsweep and it's by far the most negged thing I ever did, I am legitimately baffled as to what people see in that album. it was a 1.5 album elevated to a 2 by having The One True Colour on it'
Gave it a go, didn't really see much in it either.
Digging: The Heavy Horses - Murder Ballads & Other Love Songs
as an avid fan of the band, yeh yeh I'm a fanboy, i know from what the band have been saying and from live footage that there will be heavy songs on this album, Take My Country Back live is very heavy, plus its Shikari, there albums always have a bit of this and that. This album is their "take" on pop music
Is Hoodwinker gonna be on the new album?
To me it seems the new album is gonna be Common Dreads 2.0, more electronically based than metal/rock. Sounds like its got strong The Prodigy vibes.
