Canadian experimental indie rockers Broken Social Scene have begun streaming their fifth full-length album, "Hug Of Thunder" through NPR Music ahead of its 7 July release date.

Featuring a return of all fifteen original members, the album is the band's first release in seven years and is available for pre-order directly through the group's store page on digital, vinyl, and CD formats.

I really enjoyed my first listen. Gonna give it a couple more shots but I like this a bit more than their last release. I get the band's detractors but you could say most of that about Indie Rock in general.

they're not reeally indie tho? They're a lot like Tortoise with a lot of junk piled on top. Idk what constitutes "indie" tho so maybe ignore me. But the Tortoise is still there.
