I saw these guys at their first ever UK show last year which was pretty fun. A new album may not be as good as S/T, but it'll be interesting to hear if it does come to fruition.

I'd happily take a new album from these guys, just ain't gonna live up to their self titled

I'd be down for a new album. I just started listening to them after hearing them at FunFunFunFest last year, so I'd be down to hear some good stuff.

New song sounds dull and uninspired compared to any song off the previous and now-17-year-old self-titled record. Pulling off a nostalgia-filled album for the sake of nostalgia - one that uses the aesthetics, concept, structure and even the title of the previous AF album - was probably the worst thing they could had possibly done with a follow-up. It's still great that a band that pioneered a genre like American Football did to midwest emo is coming out with new stuff for this younger and very different generation, however.

100% accurate except for the end. coming out with new stuff for this younger and diff generation is not necessary

Yeah this is actually pretty disappointing. 85% radio pop and 15% math-ish kind of sound, plus the production is all so loud and shitty and compressed/

New song is good. Melodically it sounds like something off of Owens last record, but the twinkles are still there.
