Instrumental progressive metal band Mute The Saint, fronted by sitar prodigy Rishabh Seen, have released a teaser for a single, entitled "Sound of Scars", off their upcoming eponymous EP.

This song will be the second single off Mute The Saint. The first single, "The Fall of Sirius", was released in November 2015 and also saw the band put out an accompanying playthrough video.

"The Fall of Sirius" is currently available for purchase on the band's bandcamp page.

For the AAL/Chimp Spanner/Ravi Shankar crowd.

Not as sold on this. Sitar rock was done in the 90s with the industrial band NuMantra (they only released one CD but had no guitarist, only a sitarist)

Heh, sitar rock was done in the '60s bro. Maybe you've heard of this little band from Liverpool called The Beatles? I just figure that this might be a fairly interesting spin on the instrudjental craze.

Thanks for the NuMantra mention though. I'm jamming them right now and digging it.

Sitar feels forced on this and IMO doesn't fit the music at all

Sitar is always consensual, baby. Never forced.
