Daevid Allen, long-time frontman for Gong and a brilliant solo artist in his own right, has announced that he has decided to stop treatment for his cancer, and so has six months to live. Allen's announcement of the very unfortunate news can be found here:

Allen's latest musical effort can be found on recent 2014 Gong album, I See You.

All the best to the man and his family in the meantime, and I believe I speak for all Gong's fans in saying his musical legacy will live on.
