Boring instrumentation. For shame.
| |
You're right instrumentation is boring but wow, new guy has a nice voice.
| |
emarosa are still around wow
| |
meh
| |
I had no idea they were still making music
| |
Promising...
| |
they've been in hibernation ever since jonnys departure. and this is what they come up with? fml. vocalist is the same typical whiney bullshat.
| |
vocalist feels so constrained here; he was such a better fit for the groovy Squid the Whale
| |
Yeah I thought they were dead
| |
Oh didn't know he was the new vocalist. Squid the Whale rules.
| |
doubtful
| |
STW is definitely better than this stuff; at least they had their own unique flavoring
| |
'stw rules' and 'stw is better than this' is 2 diff things k thx
| |
On the one hand, it won't alienate Johnny's fans, but on the other, I wish they did something
different. Maybe they'll break this guy in on this album and go all out on the next?
| |
Pretty damn good... there's going to be a lot of variety on this album from the live videos I've seen, so this isn't necessarily the best representation of the album as a whole.
| |
Song rules
| |
Digging this so much; also love how the vocals are mixed perfect with the instruments for once.
| |
Instrumentation sounds like Emarosa, not that bad.
| |
What a beautiful song. I'm excited, Go Emarosa!
| |
I like it. Looking forward to their new album.
| |
Dig the vocals, interested in hearing more
| |
Boring shit instrumentation, cookie-cutter, unoriginal vocalist.
RIP Emarosa, stillbirth.
| |
Pretty good. New vocalist kicks ass.
| |
its okay, the new vocalist is a good replacement for Johnny Craig though. Used to live off the band's second album in high school.
| |
Love the album art, can actually hear all the instruments, good voice
| |
actually really enjoyed that.
| |
the only thing good about this is how they stuck with the fox theme for their album art.
| |
Simple but sweet.
| |
New vocalist sounds decent
| |
this is a fantastic song
| |
people still listen to this kind of music?
| |
post-hardcore weeknd.
| |
emarosa are still around wow [2]
| |
This single is kinda iffy for me, the chorus is what mainly bothers me. It's not really hook-y, and is
a bit off. They have a ton of build up and it really leads to nowhere.
But with the preview songs in the Versus videos and the new ones they played live, I can honestly say
I'm sold, those sound awesome.
| |
I love it!
Different from their normal stuff but reminds me of Every Avenue. And I like them!
| |
I loved This Is Your Way Out. Other than that I couldn't get into them. Mostly because Jonny Craig is a douche nozzle.
| |
A massive step up from their previous release. The focus isn't purely on the vocals this time around.
| |
whats the focus on then? theres nothing going on instrumentally. its just background music. that being said, this vocalist isnt terrible. when he pushes, like in the hook, its kinda iffy, but i dig his less strained approach of the verses and bridges
| |
^this hard
I really liked this song, but to be honest I preferred the new Slaves track. It was better produced and the hooks were way catchier even though it just sounds like typical Emarosa. This new track was good too though, excited for both albums
| |
when is this being released?
