Led Zeppelin To Reissue Albums

2014-03-13 by Nash J! | 20 Comments
Led Zeppelin have announced that they will be reissuing their first three albums. The
reissues of Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II, and Led Zeppelin III will include a
remastered version of the album as well as a bonus disk. Included in the bonus disc will be
live and unreleased tracks from around the time each album was released.

Formats in which the albums will be made available will include singe/two-disc deluxe
edition CDs, single 180-gram vinyl LP/deluxe edition vinyl, and digital download. About the
reissues, guitarist and producer Jimmy Page has stated, "The material on the companion discs
presents a portal to the time of the recording of Led Zeppelin. It is a selection of work in
progress with rough mixes, backing tracks, alternate versions and new material recorded at
the time." The reissues will be available on June 3rd, 2014.

Track lists for each bonus disk have also been announced, and are available on Rolling
Stone's website.

Definitely going to get these when they are released, or at least the first album.

Kalopsia: Ugh, that was pretty bad wording on my part. I meant that they are tracks from around the time the album was released. Will edit that, thanks for pointing it out to me.

Please, for the love of god, I hope they release a high quality recording of the Zeppelin DVD version of "we're gonna groove" because the Coda one sucks (at least I think it's complete shit.)

Also a studio version of "the girl I love she got long back wavy hair" would be awesome. I dont know if they ever made one though

on second thought, the bbc version of 'the girl i love' is perfect. maybe its best that version remains the only one.

Well I guess I better go out and by the original CDs of the first three albums before they go off the
shelves and this waste of money arrives.
